Welcome Week is Back!
event 1 - Pub Quiz at Frankenstein! Come to meet fellow anthropologists and warm-up the brain before the semester gets started
time: 19:30 to 22:00
location: Frankenstein Pub, 26 George lv Bridge
event 2 - Picnic on the Meadows (weather-permitting)! BYOB hot chocolate for an afternoon on the grassy knoll. Meet even more anthropologists and enjoy the cocoa
time: 12:50 to 16:00
location: Chrystal Macmillan Building, 15A George Square
event 3 - Portobello Bonfire (also weather-permitting)! There'll be Pizza from world famous Civ's and plenty more anthropologists. Bring any other snacks, drinks, games you wish and come watch the final sunset of summer before classes begin

The Social Anthropology Society is a society comprising of both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Edinburgh. Founded by students, run by students we look to combine academic and social events to bring people together and form a welcoming community for those interested in anthropology!
The Social Anthropology Society encourages all those with an interest in any aspect of anthropology to come together, exchange ideas and knowledge, and promote the discipline outside of the classroom.
