Re:think, the student journal of creative ethnography, is coming back . . .
Re:think is a peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal exploring the potential of ethnography as a form of creative research practice and expression. It features the work of undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh (and elsewhere). It is also run by undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh.
For the fourth issue of Re:think and additional information see here.
After publishing four issues of the journal, we are looking to gather together an editorial collective/board who will work together to help Re:think 5 come into being. Anyone who is a undergraduate student in the School of Social and Political Science who is interested in working on a journal dedicated to publishing work by UG research which explores ethnographic research methods as a form of creative practice may be part of the editorial collective. REMEMBER, ethnography is not just for Social Anthropologists!
The only thing required, besides an interest in the project, is that you are ready to commit to working as a collective to see the next issue of this journal into publication and to assist in promotion and begin the work of inviting more submissions.
Working on this journal is great experience for anyone interested in publishing. This includes academic publishing, and also publishing as a more creative endeavour.
If you are interested in finding out more and potentially becoming involved please contact: Sahara Choudhury: Sahara.Choudhury@ed.ac.uk.
